Phase One - Evaluating Your Business And Working Through To a High-Level Action Plan.
No target? Nothing to aim for? Nothing to hit! In the First Phase we establish targets.
This is how we go about it:
The Business Diagnostic
Before we meet we review your current financial data, organisational chart if applicable and process your ID™ Questionnaire. ID™ System is a personal assessment and performance program which not only "profiles" you but goes on to provide strategies to help you perform to the optimum.
In the first half day session we apply our detailed diagnostics and establish where you are now and where your hidden potential lies.
The process involves an in-depth series of questions covering the key areas of the business. We both become aware of the areas of business you should be giving attention to and it enables us to identify where the areas of greatest improvement and potential lie. Notes are taken of points for future action or implementation. The questions cover:
We then put the answers to all the questions (conflicting or even lack thereof) through a final S.W.O.T. analysis and agree the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the business.
High-Level Action Planning
Again held over a half-day, we jointly review the S.W.O.T. analysis and address the questions which will have arisen from the interim report.
We table an action planning list for prioritisation, tasking and deadlines.
We then move to a business potential analysis so we can understand where the areas of most potential in your business lie.
We jointly agree on five primary issues which need to be addressed. This includes items which may require the involvement of your bookkeeper, accountant or which may require our ongoing input.
At this point we jointly will have established the basis for an action plan in a strategy mapping format. This plan is not just a big "TO DO LIST". The High-Level Action Plan covers your objectives from:
- Your Financial Perspective
- Your Client Perspective
- Your Internal Business Perspective
- Your Learning and Growth Perspective
The end-result of the above two sessions enables you to focus your efforts for maximum results as quickly as possible.
After the Evaluation and Planning sessions we will present you with a brief summary of recommendations how we may be able to help you going forward and a proposal giving you options and the investment required for our ongoing involvement.
Intended Outcome - Clarity in exactly where your business currently stands, the potential going forward and the "blue-print" of a concise action plan to take it there.
Go to Phase Two where we expand on the planning already done. |
